OVERVIEW
JetVue is designed for aqueous inkjet printers. It is an ideal "All Rounder". Suitable on any window, even ordinary passenger cars. This is because it complies with the Visible Light Transmittance (VLT) rules as governed by legislation in every Australian State. The other VLT compliant films for passenger cars are AutoVue, SuperVue and ExitVue.
Why risk your business and hard earned profits by using a non-complying film, either on your cars or your customers cars? If a non-complying film is found to be on a car, the police or transport department can issue a defect notice and a fine. If the car is involved in an accident, insurance companies may take action against the car owner and the sign print business who installed it, or at least not pay a claim. As well as the police who may take additional action if they deem the non-complying One Way Vision was a contributing factor to the cause of the accident.
Play it safe, legal and ethical, by using JetVue for passenger cars such as sedans, wagons, hatches, 4WDs, SUVs, coupes and utes. The great advantage with JetVue is that it works just as well on shop and office windows too. This one film is suitable for all and any transparent surface, whether it be a short or long term advertising campaign.
MATCHING LAMINATE
Matching overlaminate is Clear Focus CurvaLam. For passenger cars, we strongly recommend to overlaminate, so that the driver can continue to have an unobstructed view out through the rear windscreen when it rains. For external building windows, we strongly recommend to overlaminate, to help protect the aqueous ink from fading quickly.

Primary Locations
- Rear windscreen of passenger cars, such as sedans, hatches, station wagons (excluding New Zealand)
- Rear windows (behind the driver) of goods carrying vehicles, such as vans and utes
Other Locations
- External windows of shops and offices
- Any other kind of vehicle, such as campervans, trucks, limousines etc
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
JetVue is a polymeric calendered PVC perforated window film, but with a coating receptive for aqueous inks. It is white on the printable side and black on the adhesive side. JetVue has a 2mm perforation hole, which is the largest hole size in our range. For every square metre of film, 50% of the film has been perforated. The combination of 2mm hole size and 50% perforation pattern gives JetVue A high Visible Light Transmittance value. This means that it provides significant "see-through" property for the driver of a vehicle.
JetVue is available in 914mm width roll. The liner is a white PET solid film bonded to a perforated paper layer.
RECOMMENDATIONS
For JetVue, we recommend the following:
- Laminate with CurvaLam for all external application jobs, to reduce the rate of the aqueous ink fading;
- Apply to vehicle rear windscreens only, do not apply to side windows;
- Apply to vertical or near vertical rear windscreens, do not apply if angled below 55 degrees;
- Apply to windscreens that have not been tinted;
- Follow our general instructions.
