OVERVIEW
EconoLam is an economical polyester optically clear overlaminate for our range of monomeric calendered and polyester perforated One Way Vision films, such as EconoVue and Fast One Way. The benefits of overlaminating one way vision include:
- Prevents rain from coagulating in the holes
- Protects graphic from dirt and grime build up
- Protects graphic from regular cleaning, pollutants and water
- Protects graphic by absorbing most UV radiation
- Gives the graphic vibrancy – gloss look

MATCHING ONE WAY VISION
EconoLam is an overlaminate designed for specific One Way Vision films. EconoLam is matched to work successfully with EconoVue and Fast One Way.
WHERE TO APPLY?
Primary Locations
- Shops and office windows to extend the life of the printed image for as long as possible.
Other Locations
- Mass transit flat windows where EconoVue was used.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
EconoLam is available in 1370mm width roll. The liner is transparent polyester. EconoLam is not printable. EconoLam is an optically clear polyester (PET) overlaminate film, matched to our range of monomeric and polyester One Way Vision films. The thermal characteristics of EconoLam will not interfere with the adhesion of underlying perforated vinyl.
EconoLam has a gloss finish and is 61 microns thick. It has excellent UV, chemical resistance and exceptionaldimensional stability properties.
RECOMMENDATIONS
For EconoLam, we recommend the following:
- Apply to EconoVue or Fast One Way using a cold-press flat-bed laminator machine, no heat;
- Apply dry to window after 24 hours of laminating;
- To transport, roll printed graphic outwards with a diameter of at least 150mm;
- Clean the graphic with mild soap solution, sponge and garden hose;
- Follow our general instructions.
